The flavor of the FRED Original cigarette was developed on the basis of an American Blend, i.e. 3 types of tobacco are used: Virginia, Oriental and Burley.
Virginia tobacco comes mainly from the United States. These tobacco leaves have been dried by the warm air. The color is very bright and the aroma is best smelled in the mouth.
Burley is a chocolate-colored dark tobacco. It comes mainly from Europe and gives off a slightly salty and nutty flavor in the throat. Oriental tobacco leaves are smaller and very aromatic. Most of them come from Greece and Turkey and are dried in the sun. FRED cigarettes have a much higher proportion of oriental tobacco compared to conventional cigarettes. The aroma is very sweet and you can taste it perfectly with your nose.

The taste of a cigarette depends strongly on the particular blend, but also on the additives and flavor enhancers that manufacturers such as Marlboro etc. add. FRED has decided from the outset not to use any artificial additives in its products. The added additives have an extreme influence on the taste. They simulate a full flavor from the "first puff".
